The Lamar State College - Orange Foundation is proud to support local students as they navigate remote learning, and we are currently reviewing potential opportunities to further support LSCO in the coming Fall 2020 semester. We are determined to meet the unique challenges of COVID-19 head on by keeping an open line of communication with the school and our scholarship recipients.
After lengthy discussion, we have elected to postpone the Triple Crown Ball scholarship fundraiser to April 2021. All ticket holders and sponsors can expect to receive a letter from the Foundation with fundraiser updates in the coming weeks. We want to extend our sincere thanks to the community-leading businesses and individuals who so generously support our work with LSCO.
The health and safety of our community is our top priority. Keep in mind that social distancing is the best method to avoid spreading infections to community members who may be at greater risk of complications from a COVID-19 infection. The CDC also recommends that we continue to wash our hands regularly and wear masks to avoid accidentally exposing others to infection.
